LELAND — Haywood Jefferson “Woody” Clement, 70, moved on to his heavenly household Saturday, July 31, 2021. He succumbed to pancreatic most cancers in the comfort of his household in Leland, North Carolina. Woody was born Jan. 3, 1951, to the late Randolph and Florence Clement of Virginia Seashore, Virginia. He was the oldest of 5 small children.

Woody is survived by his wife of 43 a long time, Mary Grace (Sciarrino) daughters, Cotie Mekdeci, Madeline German and Mary Beth (James) Gray son, Randy (Ashley) Clement brothers, Edward, Donald and Charles (Janice) Clement sister, Joan Miller and lots of loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Just after serving in the U.S. Army, Woody went onto a prosperous profession marketing corporate added benefits. He liked to remain active in retirement and commonly had at least a single home improvement task at home or at just one of his children’s homes. His joy was supporting his youngsters in any way he could. He beloved to journey, exercise, journey bikes and browse.

Memorial services for Haywood Clement will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market St., Wilmington.
